Designed and developed Facebook tabs, customized social interfaces, and conceptualized, optimized and designed social content for Rue La La. Brought Facebook tab development in-house, and at one point was generating a new tab each week. Through the custom Facebook tabs we were able to support brand partnerships with co-branded Facebook sweepstakes applications. Partners included J.Crew, Hanky Panky, Dell, Ann Taylor, Alice & Olivia, Who What Wear and more. Traveled to Facebook’s headquarters to gain a better understanding of how Rue La La could be a strategic partner with the social network and how we could better optimize our social solutions. Helped grow Rue’s Facebook fan base from 200k to 600k fans.
Creative lead for UX and design of web, mobile and app social integration. Worked closely with Rue’s Technology, Marketing, UX, Mobile, and Executive teams to successfully launch social features across Ruelala.com. Executed a thorough competitive review to research and evaluate social features on numerous e-commerce and editorial sites. Created an in-depth user flow and wireframe for each element. Social features included Facebook and Google login and registration, Facebook auto-share to users’ activity feed, and a social share bar across the site.
